Following the adoption of the landmark UN75 Declaration, the Secretary-General is expected to release, by September 2021, a new, far-reaching report—Our Common Agenda—with recommendations to advance the Declaration’s twelve commitments.
As an independent, multi-stakeholder contribution to the Secretary General’s consultations for the report, the Coalition for the UN We Need and its global partners have launched a series of six expert roundtable discussions to contribute insights and concrete proposals to deliver on the UN75 Declaration. The roundtable series is led by the Stimson Center. We are pleased to share the summary report from the first roundtable, which considered the 1st (We will leave no one behind) and 12th (We will be prepared) commitments.
