Summit of the Future Information Clearinghouse

Overview

The project for a Summit of the Future Information Clearinghouse (ICH) is an independent, collaborative endeavor providing a variety of stakeholder audiences with access to accurate, objective and timely information focused on the Summit of the
Future (SOTF) preparatory processes and other developments related to the Secretary-General’s Our Common Agenda (OCA) report.

Project partners include: Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD), Coalition for the UN We Need (C4UN, the project’s administrative home), Global Governance Innovation Network (GGIN), International Development Law Organization (IDLO), and the Present and Future Institute (PFI).

Initial work on the project has begun. A project launch took place at the Global Futures Forum, which was held 20-21 March, 2023 in New York. Additional ICH monitoring and information services will come online as the SOTF preparatory discussions move forward.

This ICH preliminary site includes (a) recent reports summarizing UN General Assembly discussions related to various SOTF processes and (b) a listing of key resources.
